Beach Villas in Sicily

What could be more perfect for enjoying a Sicilian holiday by the sea than a beach villa?

You will find above a special selection of beachfront villas in Sicily that meet your every need. All these seaside properties afford a view of the coast among Mediterranean gardens, located a few steps from the beach. The perfect recipe for a totally relaxing holiday in a Sicilian villa by the sea.

The villas’ locations range from Syracuse – near the easternmost point of Sicily – where Villa Aurora is right on the seafront, looking directly onto a quiet unspoilt sandy beach, to selected resorts spread along Sicily’s south-east coast. These villas give you the best of both worlds. A fantastic, relaxing seafront location that is also within easy reach of the Val di Noto, famous for its Unesco heritage sites, with their fine examples of Baroque architecture.

You can choose between a range of locations, capacities, prices, features and facilities. For example, Villa Poseidone, near Scicli, has a private pool and can sleep up to 14 people in 8 bedrooms. Or, for up to four people, you may prefer Le Tamerici, a period house right on the beach in Punta Secca. This is the perfect location for fans of the Inspector Montalbano TV series, as it is just a short walk from the detective’s house and other locations where the series is filmed.

Discover the beaches of Sicily

When you think of Sicily, the sea and the beaches automatically come to mind. Sicily boasts more than a thousand kilometres of shoreline, and no other Mediterranean island has more beaches. The best known are at Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata (where you will find Villa Calipso for 6-8 people) and the Giardini Naxos near Taormina. Other famous ones are Scala dei Turchi (province of Agrigento), San Vito Lo Capo in the north west, and Fontane Bianche near Syracuse.

Furthermore, each of Sicily’s beaches is unique. Some feature white sand, such as Ognina, Fontane Bianche, San Vito Lo Capo and Mondello, while others, such as Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Marzamemi and La Scala dei Turchi, have golden sand. Sandy beaches are ideal for sunbathers and families, especially with children. Whereas divers and snorkelers appreciate rocky beaches. Villa Minerva, at Punta Braccetto, features a golden sandy beach in a bay bounded by two cliffs.
