The route called Serra delle Concazze starts on the east side of Mount Etna, 100 m before arriving to the refuge Citelli. Once reached a refuge for shepherds made in lava stone, there is a fork. The right path goes directly towards the balcony over Valle del Bove of Serra delle Concazze, while going straight on you will reach the Cave Serracozzo. We recommend you the second path because of the beauty of the cave and for its better accessibility. You will reach then a valley where you can see lower effusive mouths of 1971. The entrance of the cave is located at the edge of the wood, on the right side of the valley, where the lava flow begins. After visiting the cave, continue following the indicated route going along the edge of Valle del Bove towards Serra delle Concazze and enjoy the view of the valley. Beware: note that from here onwards the route presents dangerous precipices, so we strongly recommend stopping here
