The beach of Donnalucata, located just after Marina di Ragusa along the southeastern coast of Sicily, is 25 km from Ragusa and 10 km from Scicli, which is the city that runs this area. Donnalucata offers a fine golden sandy beach washed by a clear blue sea. The wide main beach extends next to the small marina and is equipped with showers and a beach club offering a bar and renting beach equipment. Thanks to its big size, you can stay comfortable and in total relax, also when it is very crowded. A free parking area is available 100 m from the beach.
After the main beach, there is a 3 km coastline with wild and secluded beaches, among which there are Micenci, Palo Rosso, Palo Bianco and Spinasanta. The rough sea and the wave motion, which characterizes this coastline in windy days, make this area the perfect place for surfing and windsurfing.
The seaside village of Donnalucata
In Donnalucata there is a picturesque fish market that offers a great variety of fresh fish and gives life to the seaside village. The beautiful promenade, with its bars and stalls, extends towards the small fishing marina with its colorful boats.
