Position The accommodation is located just on the sandy beach of Trappeto, a beautiful seaside hamlet 4 km from Balestrate, in the province of Palermo, in the north-west of Sicily. Trappeto rises in the gulf of Castellammare and boasts a wide golden sandy beach lapped by a turquoise sea. A few minutes from the city centre, this small apartment offers a comfortable position to move along the coast of Castellammare and the Zingaro Nature Reserve, as well as to visit the wonderful beaches of the area. Also the tourist destinations of the surroundings, which can be visited with a short drive, are numerous: a few kilometers away there are Palermo (40 km), San Vito Lo Capo (65 km), Segesta (30 km), Trapani (60 km) and Erice (73 km). The famous Sanctuary of the Madonna del Ponte is 9 minutes by car and the wonderful Zingaro Nature Reserve, a naturalistic oasis of great beauty, is 30 km. 6,5 km from Trappeto there is the “Fontana degli Otto Cannoli” (fountain of the eight cannoli) and the airport of Palermo is 30 km away.
