The beach of Pozzallo extends for about 800 m inside the town and is bordered by an elegant promenade. The town is located along the southeastern coast of Sicily in the province of Ragusa, from which it is 37 km. The golden and very fine sand, the cobalt blue sea, the shallow waters and the wide beach surrounded by palm trees make it a charming place to spend a relaxing holiday. It is the ideal beach for those who love the comforts guaranteed by the beach clubs (beach equipment rentals, bar, restaurant, etc.) or for those who want to play beach sports. In high season, beach soccer and beach volley tournaments and musical events, such as water aerobics, are organized. Even if the beach is very crowded in high season, its wide extension allows you to comfortably find a place and enjoy the sea in complete tranquility. In 2016 the beach received the fourteenth Blue Flag from the FEE and the second Green Flag as a child-friendly beach, assigned by the pediatrician association. Moreover, Legambiente and Italian Touring Club have counted it among the most beautiful beaches in Italy and included in the "Blue Guide 2014".
