The beach of Maganuco, a seaside hamlet of Modica, located along the southeastern coast of Sicily, 37 km from Ragusa, is in a very popular and tourist area and has a wide sandy beach that stretches for about 500 m, just before the port of Pozzallo. Bordered by very high dunes, the beach is characterized by a limpid and turquoise sea with seabed that slopes gently towards the open sea. Thanks to its exposure, the waters are often blown and beaten by the wind that favors surfing and windsurfing lovers. The beach is well served by beach clubs that offer a bar, restaurant and beach equipment rentals. Legambiente and Italian Touring Club have counted it among the most beautiful beaches in Italy and included in the "Blue Guide 2014".
