Punta Secca and Caucana are two seaside hamlets of the southeastern coast of Sicily, characterized by sandy beaches and crystal waters. Punta Secca is also well known for Inspector Montalbano’s house, which has made famous this small village well, thanks to the tv series that has passionate Italian and foreign people.
Several tourists stop here just to take a photo, but it is worth spending some days in Punta Secca to enjoy this picturesque corner of Sicily, which boasts a limpid sea and a typical small port with a 34 meters high lighthouse.
